This office is
situated at TISA Haus, Waigani. The owners
requested us the design and construct an open plan
office that reflects the efficient and cooperative
way the management likes their office to operate
Tasmanbuilders used clear
laminated glass floor-to-ceiling panels in white
powder coat by Nuigini Glass for the office
partitions separating the various departments. Our
architect designed the decorative timber panels
above the glass maintaining and elegance that
reflects the PNG's love of richly figured
woodwork. The architect's design
for the reception area is a beautiful custom made
timber unit featuring kwila with back-lit glass
bricks. Security is maintained by the use of
glass paneled doors so the area can be observed
from the office interior.
Overhead lo-voltage lighting in the ceilings and
an elegant glass brick lined reception wall
complete the design to give a business-like but
comfortable ambience. |
