THE STORY; In this family, the
children are growing up and are now in their exciting teenage
years. They want the space for themselves and also think about
going to college, finding a job and having
their own career and life. In this case mum and dad
have taken care of their needs and a great
solution has been reached.
Our owner/parents asked Tasman to design and build a
two storey home; upstairs they selected two bedrooms plus study, with bathroom, kitchen,
spacious living area and veranda. Their own
private living space of over 80 square metres.
Underneath is a two bedroom self-contained unit
also built to Tasman's high standard of finish
like upstairs. Here the kids can be "at home"
but still have their own space where growth,
freedom and individuality is possible. Someday, when
and if the children want to move into their own
home, downstairs will provide great rental
income for mum and dad! |

ABOVE; The upstairs kitchen
is BIG with plenty of bench space, and over-head
cupboards. Mum can cook those delicious family meals with
ease and comfort, at the same time enjoying the
happiness of time together - no drama or noisy
music! Other family members can use
their own downstairs kitchen for a quick meal or cup of
coffee. Downstairs is fully kitted our with its own sink, stove and indoor laundry area, so
everyone can just take it easy and do whatever
they feel happy doing.- Who could ask for more? |
