Work left by previous workmen is sometimes left in poor condition. Unsafe electrical wiring, leaking plumbing joints, badly fitted ceramic tiles and poor finish is the rule rather than the exception.
Before our work begins every part of the building is checked. Plumbing, electrical, carpentry, tiling etc to ensure “best” standards can be achieved at the completion of our work. We often find it necessary to refit plumbing, remove unsafe electrical connections, and replace damaged sections, but no matter what the condition, Tasman skill, quality and reliability will guarantee a professional result.

Plans: All types and designs are available from Tasman. If you don ' t know where to start, start with us! You can borrow our reference books to get ideas. Then, when you are ready out draftsmen will sit with you and design a house specially for you!

Tiling |

This is the specialized area of finish for your renovation, or new home and is in the charge of our experienced Australian tiling master. Call into our current work in progress to see the quality and design layouts of our specialist tiling team. In PNG ceramic tiling must be completed with the use of highly
specialized materials because most tiles here are laid on wooden floors. Think back
.... have you ever walked over loose and broken tiles? The reason
is usually due to poor workmanship, or
wrong materials. At Tasman we know our job and our tiling meets the test of time. Ask to see a sample of our latest work and talk to the owner – that ' s the best reference we can offer!

Painting |
TasmanBuilders use only the best products. We use and recommend Taubmans or Dulux products. Company tradesmen who have proved their worth are the only people we trust to decorate your home. Long before the
colours are usually selected, our tradesmen are sanding and filling and priming or undercoating to make sure the preparation is as good as we can make it because every tradesman knows: “ Finish starts with preparation ” Aside from preparation, painting usually takes a primer coat, and undercoat and two finish coats to give you the best result and that's what we aim for every time.

Electrical |
| Renovations:
We never carry out
a renovation unless we first check the electrical circuits, because we know from experience, we may find illegal wiring or
unsafe circuits that can be the cause of FIRE !
Its in your interests we take these precautions
when our licensed electricians attend to your new wiring and electrical work.
New Construction:
We don't opt for cheap offsiders, our Licensed electricians wire, fit and connect all electrical
circuits.
Our Electricians will also attend to inspection by the Electrical Authority prior to connection.

Plumbing |
| Renovations:
Before installing new fittings our Licensed
plumbers check all plumbing fittings and taps
for security and leaks. They then repair or replace as necessary
before ever working on your new installation. If gas is installed we insist registered gasfitters check all gas fittings for safety.
New Construction: Connection to the water main, sewerage and where required, gas, will be carried out by our Licensed plumbers. Regular inspections by our supervisors as well as local authorities will be carried out during construction to ensure a first class job prior to connection to the mains.

Exterior Finishes & Cladding
|
| External Colorbond(c) cladding is
recommended for its long lasting qualities,
however alternative finishing inside and outside the home is with high grade professional paints and finishes. As with all other work, when it comes to finishes, Tasman always uses tradesmen workers and best available products so the new owner can expect a home built to last and require minimum upkeep.

Pests
|
New Construction
and Renovations: Prior to sealing the walls etc, a qualified pest exterminator checks for termites etc and treats the premises to ensure trouble-free occupancy. Internal walls are lined and sealed against pests. Fly-screening is fitted to all windows.

|
Security |
New Construction
and Renovations: Louvre frames are replaced as needed and new louvre blades are fitted before security screens are installed. Deadbolt door locks of a suitable security type are fitted and external doors are fitted with top and bottom bolts for added security.
Security Fence: New Homes: High grade security fencing, external night lighting and grounds well designed to deter any would-be criminal are a feature of Tasman homes. When the garden and shrubs are established, the house has a homely “lived-in” look and feel that will induce any serious home buyer to consider investment in a Tasman home.
